Ansel Oarland's mission was simple: to rescue her brother, Renault, from the prison facility, Folken Detention Center. Renault and their fellow crew mate Steve Tenebres were taken into custody when they botched a job they were pulling for space pirate Captain Vanessa Dundee.

     Going against her captain's orders, Ansel took Dundee's favorite ship, the Calypso, to embark on a rogue mission to free her sibling. During the siege, however, she discovers a secret laboratory where a doctor, Dean Tremaine, is watching over a Noa specimen - the first Noa to be seen after eons of the species' extinction.

     Maybe it was curiosity that got the better of her, or perhaps the promise of possible treasure - since this particular Noa held repressed knowledge that was believed to be "of extremely high value"...but Ansel decided to bring the two along.

     However, they did not realize that taking this Noa out into the open was going to set in motion an ominous chain of events of a long-forgotten prophesied apocalypse...
