Professor Alexander Tordill - teacher of archaeology and independent inventor - was always fascinated with the technological prowess that went into the construction of Awyr City - the walled, imperial metropolis. While it was known that the ancient Ymroi - a pointy-eared race living alongside humans within the city - most of the history dating back to Awyr's beginnings seems to have been lost.

   His enthusiasm for the ancient Ymroi ends up working against him, when his friend and colleague, Alistair Slocombe, arranges an expedition to leave the city with an underground resistance opposing the Ymroi Emperor, Caerwyn, in order to seek out the answers being suppressed by the empire.

   "Skynetessa" was originally written as an episodic audio-play that saw 14 of its 18 episodes published to YouTube.
